Colombo / Airport to Udawalawe National Park
Pickup from Colombo Airport or your city hotel. Drive through the gem capital of Ratnapura towards the southern plains.
Visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home (ETH), where orphaned baby elephants are rehabilitated before release back to the wild.
Check into your safari lodge on the border of Udawalawe reservoir.
Udawalawe Morning Safari to Yala Wilderness
Dawn 4x4 Jeep Safari across Udawalawe National Park. See large herds of wild elephants, water buffaloes, crested hawk eagles, and peacocks.
Proceed to Tissamaharama. Visit the historic Tissa Wewa reservoir and ancient stupas.

Full Day or Double Safari in Yala National Park
Enter Yala National Park at 6:00 AM as the park gates open. Track the Sri Lankan Leopard (Panthera pardus kotiya) across rocky outcrops and scrub forest.
